Nomadic Tribesman First heard el Chuchumbe as the song playing over the closing credits of Felipe Esparza's HBO special. It caught my attention and I rewatched the credits at least five times. I then found Las Cafeteras on Bandcamp and after listening to them several times, I opened up my wallet. Great album that is full of energy and joy, a modern take on San Jarocha with the roots of it front and center. Truly inspiring!! Favorite track: el Chuchumbé.

Joseph Natter Saw these guys in Connecticut and I'm hooked. So much passion, charisma, and musical talent. Mad respect, I hope they keep making music and performing. Favorite track: It's Movement Time.
